    Fees are the same for any additional time spent on document review, research, written findings of fact/law and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare or make an informed award or evaluation.

    TRAVEL TIME:
    For travel time charges for mediations & arbitrations held at locations other than at BAY’s offices in Atlanta, please contact BAY.

    ALL CHARGES WILL BE SHARED EQUALLY AMONG ALL PARTIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED IN WRITING. RATES MAY BE ADJUSTED FOR SPECIAL SITUATIONS. THE FEE IS TO BE AGREED UPON IN ADVANCE.

    OUR CONTRACT FOR SERVICES IS WITH THE ATTORNEY(S). WE EXTEND CREDIT, WITH NO ADVANCE DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT, BASED ON THE ATTORNEY’S CREDIT. THE ATTORNEY, IN TURN, COLLECTS FROM HIS/HER CLIENT. THEREFORE, WE EXPECT PAYMENT FROM THE ATTORNEY(S) REGARDLESS OF CLIENT ACTIVITY. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL ON EVERY ARBITRATION PRIOR TO THE AWARD BEING PUBLISHED.

    *** A FINANCE CHARGE OF 1.50% PER MONTH (18% PER YEAR) WILL BE CHARGED ON BALANCES DUE OVER 45 DAYS.

Ray is a founding partner of McMickle, Kurey & Branch LLP. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Construction Defect, Business Contract Disputes, Insurance and Insurance Coverage Cases, Bad Faith, and Complex Litigation Matters for over 25 years. Ray is well respected in the litigation community, as is reflected in his AV®Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating¹ in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and his extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants gives him the ideal perspective to serve as a mediator.

Ray began his career with Cooper & Associates in Duluth, GA. In that practice, he represented clients in the areas of Auto Liability, Insurance Coverage, Premises Liability and Property & Casualty cases, including wrongful death. In 1995, he was recruited to join the law firm of Dennis, Corry, Porter, & Smith. Ray was named a partner with Dennis, Corry in 1999 and practiced with that firm for 15 years primarily representing motor carriers and insurance companies in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Ray’s current practice primarily focuses on representing motor carriers, insurance companies, property owners/managers, sports fitness facilities and professional business entities in Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Bad Faith, Business Contracts and Complex Litigation matters. He also represents plaintiffs in the areas of Automobile Injury, Product Liability, Construction Defect, Premises Liability and Product Liability.
