Travel Fee:
$125.00 per hour, plus mileage
Fees are the same for any additional time spent on document review, research, written findings of fact/law and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare or make an informed award or evaluation.

For travel time charges for mediations held at locations other than at BAY’s offices in Atlanta, please contact BAY.
ALL CHARGES WILL BE SHARED EQUALLY AMONG ALL PARTIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED IN WRITING. RATES MAY BE ADJUSTED FOR SPECIAL SITUATIONS. THE FEE IS TO BE AGREED UPON IN ADVANCE.
OUR CONTRACT FOR SERVICES IS WITH THE ATTORNEY(S). WE EXTEND CREDIT, WITH NO ADVANCE DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT, BASED ON THE ATTORNEY’S CREDIT. THE ATTORNEY, IN TURN, COLLECTS FROM HIS/HER CLIENT. THEREFORE, WE EXPECT PAYMENT FROM THE ATTORNEY(S) REGARDLESS OF CLIENT ACTIVITY.
*** A FINANCE CHARGE OF 1.50% PER MONTH (18% PER YEAR) WILL BE CHARGED ON BALANCES DUE OVER 45 DAYS.

Douglas Daum has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants for 43 years. His practice during those years involved a wide range of legal issues, including domestic, divorce, child custody, personal injury, automobile and trucking accidents, uninsured motorists claims, premisis liability, insurance policy and coverage questions, Workers; compensation, probate, and landlord tenant cases. Doug has mediated and litigates hundreds of cases as a plaintiff’s or defense counsel.
Doug is a native Georgian. He attended Mercer University, and the University of Georgia School of Law. Doug is registered with the Georgia Office of Domestic Dispute Resolution as a Neutral in Civil and domestic mediation. He has litigated cases in both Georgia state and federal courts.
Doug is available for mediations in Metro Atlanta, as well as Augusta, Southeastern , and Coastal Georgia.
