Fees are the same for any additional time spent on document review, research, written findings of fact/law and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare or make an informed award or evaluation.

All flat fees are inclusive of document review, research, pre-mediation conference calls, written finding of fact/law and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare or make an informed evaluation and effective mediation.
MINIMUM TIME:
A 3-Hour Minimum will be charged in all cases.
TRAVEL TIME:
For travel time charges for mediations held at locations other than at BAY’s offices in Atlanta, please contact BAY.
ALL CHARGES WILL BE SHARED EQUALLY AMONG ALL PARTIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED IN WRITING. RATES MAY BE ADJUSTED FOR SPECIAL SITUATIONS. THE FEE IS TO BE AGREED UPON IN ADVANCE.
OUR CONTRACT FOR SERVICES IS WITH THE ATTORNEY(S). WE EXTEND CREDIT, WITH NO ADVANCE DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT, BASED ON THE ATTORNEY’S CREDIT. THE ATTORNEY, IN TURN, COLLECTS FROM HIS/HER CLIENT. THEREFORE, WE EXPECT PAYMENT FROM THE ATTORNEY(S) REGARDLESS OF CLIENT ACTIVITY.
*** A FINANCE CHARGE OF 1.50% PER MONTH (18% PER YEAR) WILL BE CHARGED ON BALANCES DUE OVER 45 DAYS.

With over 35 years of legal experience, primarily as a trial lawyer, and an “AV Preeminent” rating in the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, Charlie has a proven history of advising, mediating, and resolving disputes for individuals, businesses, and insurers. His trial experience includes over 75 cases brought to verdict and the successful resolution of thousands more through mediation. Throughout his career, Charlie has developed deep expertise in litigation strategies and conflict dynamics. Charlie’s legal practice encompassed a broad spectrum of cases, including catastrophic bodily injury, wrongful death, construction defect claims, insurance coverage, and extra-contractual bad faith disputes involving various policy types.
Today, he applies that expertise to mediation, offering a 180-degree analysis of disputes and tailoring his approach to the unique challenges of each situation. He is particularly adept at navigating complex legal matters, seeing the big picture and facilitating a resolution. Charlie’s goal is to help parties find common ground and reach mutually satisfactory outcomes, recognizing that most disputes share underlying commonalities. He is dedicated to facilitating constructive dialogue and achieving swift resolutions, while maintaining the focus, dedication, and attention required for successful mediation.
