    Fees are the same for any additional time spent on document review, research, written findings of fact/law and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare or make an informed award or evaluation.

    ALL CHARGES WILL BE SHARED EQUALLY AMONG ALL PARTIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED IN WRITING. RATES MAY BE ADJUSTED FOR SPECIAL SITUATIONS. THE FEE IS TO BE AGREED UPON IN ADVANCE.

    OUR CONTRACT FOR SERVICES IS WITH THE ATTORNEY(S). WE EXTEND CREDIT, WITH NO ADVANCE DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT, BASED ON THE ATTORNEY’S CREDIT. THE ATTORNEY, IN TURN, COLLECTS FROM HIS/HER CLIENT. THEREFORE, WE EXPECT PAYMENT FROM THE ATTORNEY(S) REGARDLESS OF CLIENT ACTIVITY. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL ON EVERY ARBITRATION PRIOR TO THE AWARD BEING PUBLISHED.

    *** A FINANCE CHARGE OF 1.50% PER MONTH (18% PER YEAR) WILL BE CHARGED ON BALANCES DUE OVER 45 DAYS.

Woody Sampson is a partner with Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins, Georgia’s oldest minority-owned law firm. A trial lawyer, Woody regularly represents Fortune 500 companies, individuals and governmental entities in various types of complex legal matters. He has worked as a plaintiff’s attorney trying multi-million dollar personal injury cases, as well as a defense attorney. Woody has a wide variety of experience, having been involved in trying more than 100 cases. He has handled matters involving Civil Rights/Section 1983 Litigation, Consumer Warranty, Insurance Defense, Legal & Medical Malpractice, Negligent Security, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Trucking Litigation and Wrongful Death.

In addition to his trial experience, Woody has served as General Counsel to the Fulton County Board of Ethics for almost twenty (20) years,, advising the Board on numerous complaints that have come before them concerning ethical violations of Fulton County elected officials and employees of Fulton County.  During that time, he has authored all of the requests for advisory opinions from individuals who sought to determine whether their prospective conduct constituted an ethical violation.  In addition, Woody has represented and advised elected officials on issues concerning election law violations and other ethical issues concerning elections.

Woody has been listed as a Georgia Super Lawyers® and was a Charter Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America.  This trial honorary is by invitation and consists of less than 1% of trial lawyers in America.  Woody has also been listed in “The Power Book” as one of the top 50 leaders in the legal profession by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
