Her legal experience spans the areas of family law, personal injury, worker’s compensation, insurance defense, collections, and business law. She has represented employees and employers; business owners and contractors; insurers and insureds; mothers and fathers; and advised countless others. Ivy uses her vast knowledge of various areas of the law from different perspectives, her own diverse life experiences, and a genuine compassion and empathy for people to facilitate unique solutions to complex cases.

Ivy is an Atlanta native, but spent much of her childhood in Michigan before going to high school in South Florida. She earned her Associate’s degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Ivy is a proud three-time Georgia State University alum, having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, with a concentration in International Business, her Juris Doctor, and her Master’s of Business Administration from Georgia State’s College of Law and J. Mack Robinson College of Business. In 2016, she was selected to deliver the Student Commencement Address at Georgia State Law’s Commencement Ceremony, receiving a standing ovation.

While in law school, Ivy was a student attorney on the school’s mock trial team, and by her third year of law school, she was already representing domestic violence victims in Cobb County, Georgia. She clerked for the Honorable John J. Goger and the Honorable Alford J. Dempsey in Fulton County Superior Court. She has since worked for several well-respected insurance defense and plaintiff’s firms in the Atlanta area.
