Scott Young to Lead Panel at 51st GDLA Annual Meeting
Scott Young will be leading a panel on “Whats New In Mediation: Preparation, Process And Professionalism” at the 51st GDLA
Annual meeting.The conference will be held June 14-17th at Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast, Florida.
The goal of this program is to highlight issues that can develop between plaintiff and defense counsel
in the handling of case with an emphasis on ethics and professionalism in both the litigation and mediation process.
Scott Young has over 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer in cases involving Commercial, Construction, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Professional Negligence, Trucking, and Workers’ Compensation. Scott is AV®Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated¹ by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He is also a registered neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and helped to found BAY Mediation & Arbitration Services, LLC in 2002. He is a recognized member of The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and The Georgia Academy of Mediators & Arbitrators. In addition, Scott has a Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and is a retired Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRCC-R).
